Cathy supports the following 501(c)3 non-profit charities. 

Eagle Creek Academy

Cathy founded Eagle Creek in 2005 and is now the president of the board of trustees. Eagle Creek is a private school for children from 1 year old to 5th grade where the teachers find the perfect balance of fun and academics through small groups and personalized lessons.

Share a Smile

Cathy's brother and his wife founded Share a Smile in 1999 and are still active board members. Share a Smile makes a difference one person at a time by meeting the needs of ordinary citizens who struggle with finances due to natural disaster or health problems. 

The Conklin Foundation

Cathy's dad is a board member, past president, and past award winner of the Conklin Foundation, a non-profit that recognizes international hunters who abide by the highest standards of ethics and fair chase and who are proven, strong participants in wildlife conservation.

Ducks Unlimited

One of Cathy's sons has been the Co-president of the Michigan State Chapter of Ducks Unlimited for 2 years. With a membership of 700,000 people, Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and upland habitats for waterfowl, other wildlife, and people.

FASD United

After adopting one of her sons, Cathy learned that he was born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FASD), a completely avoidable brain disorder. She supports FASD United, an international organization that works to prevent prenatal exposure to alcohol and supports families living with the disorder.
